One of the best times of the year to fish is here. Our water has cooled down and trout are once again actively feeding and moving in preparation for the winter. Stocking of the Tuckasegee and Nantahala Rivers resume in October. These are some of the premier fisheries on the East Coast. Both of these rivers are incredibly beautiful and what a better time of the year to visit the Franklin, NC area. Our leaves are already starting to change colors and our fall should be georgous. Many towns are offering fall festivals and with our wide open mountains and small towns, there is plenty of room to social distance. We offer guided trips on all of the river and stream systems throughout western North Carolina. These trips include our famous private trophy waters, float trips on the Tuckasegee River and walk-n-wade trips on the Nantahala and the many other rivers, creeks and streams that are within minutes of our shop.
